Drama Queens and Kings

A few years ago my sister and I decided we would memorize a scene from "Pride and Prejudice," dress up and have dad film us. Of course I had to be the man.

Elizabeth Bennett & Mr Darcy

Loretta and I were invited to a friend's Hen Night. The theme was 1950's rock and roll so before the night us girls decided to go op shopping for some costumes. We couldn't find anything until we accidentally found a lady in a obscure boutique shop who said she had some 1950's poodle skirts at home - and they were just what we were looking for!
Don't you think Loretta looks like a model/movie star

My go at looking like a model

Two years ago I was asked to teach craft/drama to a group of homeschooling kids. Here is our first project - a puppet show! We made the puppets, write a script and put on a show for the parents. "Mixed Up Mess" was the title of our play and it was a hit! It was a mixture of Pride and Prejudice, Oliver twist, Sherlock Holmes, Rapunzel (fairy tale), Tintin, Robin Hood and Shakespeare so as you can imagine it was a bit of a mixed up mess.
