On the 27 of December Loretta and I went away for 11 days with a team of about 60 Christians to a caravan park by the beach. Every year they have a theme for Beach Mission. This year it was Medieval.
We made lots of new friends, put on great events for the campers (eg. Medieval Fair, Volley Ball Night, Band Night, Bush Dance, Trivia, Medieval Feast and more), told people about Jesus (two ladies came to Jesus which was very exciting), and went to the beach lots! I celebrated my birthday while I was away and got sung to three times. It was a very full on time but we had a day off (the 1st of Jan) in the middle of beach mission which was nice. A group of us went to a jump rock near a river and had fun swinging off a rope and getting soaked. Later we went to the movies which was then followed by a snack at Subway! Beach Mission was a great experience and we are keen to do it again!!!

| On our last night we had a beach mission team dinner. Everyone got dressed up for the night. Some of the boys even went to town and bought some clothes from an opp shop. They drove up in a black car and stepped out of it all dressed up in things that didn't match. It was pretty funny! |
